
Scottish harpist Pippa Reid-Foster is a performer, composer and teacher of the harp from the West coast of Scotland, teaching children and adults weekly sharing her passion for music. Pippa enjoys playing her Clarsach at a diverse range of venues and travels far and wide to perform at weddings, public and private receptions, corporate events, charity events and various other functions. Pippa specializes in writing new compositions for the harp and has recorded a solo album which will be available to purchase and download in 2016. Pippa performs as a soloist and as part of ensembles regularly throughout Scotland. She has worked with some prominent bands and has worked on residencies with some of the best musicians in Scotland. Some examples of venues and festivals Pippa has performed at: The Edinburgh International Harp festival, BBC Scotland’s Celtic Connections, Edinburgh Castle, House for an Art Lover, Scottish Parliament, Stirling Castle, Cameron House, Boturich Castle, Norton House, Country Club. In 2013 Pippa was a BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician semi-finalist and in 2014 Pippa gained a Masters in Scottish Music at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
